Over 300 people attended Mike's 75th birthday bash at Bingeman's on August 16, 2008. Thanks to Tony, Michelle, Val and Michael, the evening was a great success. Vic Degutis made a splendid M.C. for the evening. The impromptu orchestra did a fine job in performing numbers like Sound of Music, West Side Story and Fiddle Faddle.

As one can see, Mike is still passing on his love of music and his good humour to the young. But for many of us, it started way back at St. Jerome's and St. Mary's High-Schools...and, of course, Music Camp in the mid-60's. Ah yes, Music Camp...do you remember those hot days practising under the big top?
