What a delight when I googled St. Jerome's High School and up popped the link to the reunion class of 1964! This sparked an inspiration in me. Why not ask permission to use the format of that website to expand the Saint Jerome's High School family on the internet by creating a graduation 1966 website! Wasn't it fortuitous that I had a Web Master's Certificate and that Matt Scholtz's son (Stephen) from the 1964 class was a web designer! So here we are: Saint Jerome's alumni reaching far and wide over the internet. What a techno age!
Yes, St. Jerome's High School was more than just a place to learn. It was a place to grow and to mature in so many ways and a place to build memories. Thank goodness, the class of 1964 held a reunion, aptly held on the feast day of St. Jerome, September 30, 2006. Imagine the geometrical progression of links we could have, if we had a website and links to every year in the 1960's and maybe beyond!
The 1964 group had a Reunion Committee which has rekindled so many contacts and communications from old classmates. It's a joy to stretch across the decades. Thanks to Paul Olinski, Past President, St. Jerome's Student Council, 1964, to Matt Scholtz and to his son, Stephen, for building the original site.
